How does it work?
Comprehensive Clubhouse Training is an opportunity to learn about and experience Clubhouse philosophy, culture, relationships and the day-to-day operations. Whether starting a new Clubhouse or moving an established Clubhouse to a higher level of operation, the goal of the training is to help colleagues implement and enhance a Clubhouse model program in their own communities. The development of an Action Plan is a helpful tool in this regard.

Post-training
A post-training site visit to your clubhouse by members of our training team will be provided approximately six months after the training. (Costs more than USD 500 must be covered by the clubhouse). If a visit is difficult to arrange, we will set up a video conference, to follow up your Action Plan.
What will you learn?
The training curriculum, developed with Clubhouse International and re-evaluated on an ongoing basis, enables colleagues to immerse themselves in the Clubhouse community. This includes:
A solid background in the basic clubhouse mechanics and philosophy.
Essential readings of a compendium of articles.
Daily group discussions based on The International Standards for Clubhouse Programs.
Participation in the work units of Fontenehuset Oslo sentrum, and working together side-by-side.
Introduction to employment programs, mainly involving transitional employment, which enable clubhouses to help members to obtain and maintain employment.
